First take on new tune. Still has to be re-arranged. Comments welcome. Everything was one take so don't expect much quality.
First raw mix of tracks for idea. Stub tracks done in Ableton
Fostex, guitar quartet loop. Needs drums. Might be good hip-hop song.
Just throwing stuff out there.
We're looking for the Label is ready to buy all rights for our CD only $1 if we'll get realy good contract for our second CD...
This is only demo version.
An experiment gone awry. If anyone hears anything they'd like to fix let me know. This is actually not what Illinois 13 is doing right now but six months ago when I recorded this I'm not sure exactly what I was thinking about . Anyway, never tracked a bassline or a main riff to back up the lead vocal. The solo could be replaced as well. This is the first track I'm uploading so expect some different stuff as I get the new tunes worked out.
Stub track - vocals written not recorded yet.
An extremely Skeleton song, it's missing so much that I almost didn't want to upload but I think some people out there could flesh this out, and we could get a tight track from it.....
I added a bass track. Used a Fender Jazz bass, Toneport UX2 modeling a power pop bass setting (tune pre-amp - 8 * 10 cab). I had some synchronization issues. I definitely played the notes perfectly to time of the music but Ableton Live seemed to automatically warp the recording which made it out of time a bit. The time shift is not linear. Anyone have ideas on how to fix? I can re-record again when fixed. It sounds like the entire bass line wrote to disk a fraction of a beat to late.
THis is the bass track only in MP3 format. I can redo it if you want it different.
This is about a friend of ours who used to watch way too much TV. This song is a rough mix going on our debut CD. He used to wait for the TV guide to come then plan his week based on the TV listings. He literally used to circle them with a highlight pen.
I'm new here, not sure how the site works yet, thought I'd start with an upload.
Stub recording with Glen on drums, Duane on Bass. Will be adding new guitar and vocal tracks in coming weeks.
Neues Wella aus 1980's? Who cares. This is just an idea and the first time I have added keys to one of my songs. Would love to hear any ideas for lyrics, bridge etc. Will give credit on CD for right idea.
First of all thank you for all being here; let's pray,
I'm not Joking let's pray, give gratitute(everyone mummbles)ahh gives thanks right.
"Psshh, eh...come to many of these.. --no, you?-- ...ahh some... the odd one..." Amen. We' are still here. Uh though many have gone before us for whatever reason. If you find this depressing, come talk to me later I know a good Doctor whom has many choices in time released medications with great efficacy. No horrible untimely withdrawls, or sudden induced flashbacks.
Grunge in back MTWF!!!

This is a very rough mix from Mushroom Studios. The song is not complete. We are seeking a lead guitarist to put final touches on this. If you are interested, record and send your ideas. If we like it and want to use it, we'll contact you to ask you to come into the studio or for the (*.wav file (note - only upload the MP3 here). MP3 vs. *wav is a good article to read to find out qwhy on this board.
Stealin' Your Soul
With a hot breath
We take away
Width and depth
With a microphone
We clone another
Unknowing drone
Because we are...
With a snow job
We make your mind
One gooey blob
With a white lie
We stab your back
And you surely die
Because we are...
Stealin' your soul
Stealin' your soul
We are...
Huntin' for fowls
Huntin' for fowls
Repeat
With a crafty ruse
We aim to distort
And confuse you
With a holy cross
We drop our robes
And the child is lost
Because we are...
Repeat chorus
Easy Lover is a remix of a fun song from one of my bands, Major Goodvibes. The song features guitarist Chris Zorbakis on vocals, Eddy Bugnut on guitar, Jay Wittur on bass and Tony Hoggard on drums.
A Jamaican-flavored stomp.
A joyous ode to mothers and girlfriends everywhere featuring Chris Zorbakis on guitar and vocals, Eddy Bugnut on guitar, Jay Wittur on bass and Thud Pumkin on drums.
Drums for you has a free drum track download *(drumsforyou.com). I got it and added some bass and guitar. Sort of a Grunge feel circa 1990's Seattle with builds and hollows.
Looking for vocal ideas next.
