With this in mind I took Cristian’s tracks and set about creating a mix that was about the music and not about me. A mix that would be a return to a few years ago when DJing was about the music and not about the DJ or the equipment/technology used. How would I achieve this you are wondering? Simple, I just mixed the tracks … yes, that’s it. I selected what I believed to be the 18 best tracks (out of 104 supplied … WOW) from Christian and made a mix; one take one chance! Everything you are listing to is live, if it couldn’t be done in the one hour and twenty-seven minutes that this mix took to create, then it was not done. There were no post-production tricks, no editing after the fact, just a mix!
