Searching is the main mechanism that allows musicians to find others work and potential collaborations. There are two types of searching available. The first is the basic search which simply uses the keyword and searches the entire database for any matches. The second is the Advanced Search. Advanced Search can be used to find a more specific result set. For example, if you wanted to search for all work where owners are specifically seeking collaborative input from bass players, you could flag the category you wish to narrow your search to. Likewise, you can specify that your search should be limited only to work that was created using a specific mixing software like Ableton Live.
FAQ's
Question: "Hey, I just uploaded something and when I go to search for it, nothing shows up. What's wrong?"
Answer: Nothing is wrong, you just have to wait a little while for the system to index your content. It can take between 1 and 24 hours for content to be indexed, depending on server load, so be patient!
Question: "When I search on something I get no results"
Answer: Your search may be too narrow. It really does work and if something matches your request it will show up. If you entered a two word phrase, try searching for only one of the words instead.
