It's true! Soundproof is back after a long break to bring you Trance_ission 11 -- on Saturday August 23, 2008! Have you missed us? We've missed you!!

We will be presenting you with 14 hours of continuous music, going 10pm to noon Sunday. That will be over 100,000 beats! The music will be a mix of techno, tech house, progressive, electronica, house, minimal, tech-trance, trance, sponge-fresh, polka-prog and swizzle-crunch. (Yeah, everyone's playing swizzle-crunch these days.)

This year we are proud to present 3 Live PA sets. We've got Jeff Griffiths playing his techy live beats, Johan "yo" Thornton with his new all-groovebox no-laptop setup, and even the debut of John Morgan's brand new Live PA act, Machines of Chaos! And as always we've got all your favourite Soundproof DJs: Miss Innocent, Drew David, Jeff Johnston, James Fillman, PK and Evan Jones, and the return of The Trucker/Inertia! We're bringing back littlejon and Jason Tamplin, and Nemo will be playing for us for the first time. And we've even brought you the world djing debut of Ms. Jackson!!

This year, we have found for you a beautiful, private riverside campground, near Squamish. Please check www.soundproof.ca for info and directions. Bring all your camping gear: tent, flashlights, food, water, garbage bags, tarps, basic necessities, etc. We are NOT having a concession stand. And remember that we are all responsible for this campground, so your camp should be left better than you found it!

Also, and this is very important. THE GATE CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT!! If you want to be close enough to the stage to hear the music, you should probably plan to arrive before then, because we can't guarantee that you will be able to hear anything outside the gate.
