Anyone out there a budding DJ or Producer?

I am looking for people who want to get their sound heard and played out.  You don't have to be known in the scene, there are no prerequisites, you just have to be confident that people should hear what your doing.  Myself, Mike Wells (Force Mass Motion) and Caley Martin are all looking for guest for our respective shows on RadiotecH:  RisE, Rock Steady and Explorations.  If you think you want to host your own show then let me know as well, we've got lots of room for talented people and want help build a relationship with this scene that gives back to producers, dj's and listeners alike. can you mix and produce rock stuff too?

Can you take raw tracks like bass drum, snare, tom, bass guitar, etc and mix into a rock song? I have some work for someone to do this.

I'll give it a try if you like if there is way to send me the audio files. What kind of files do you have, what kind of end product are you looking for??

I mostly do rock stuff, I do electronica as a side project.

you can listen to mp3's of mine at www.distinguishedrecordings.com - leedsquietman is my rock stuff, umbriel rising is electronica.

most of these are demos but the more finished products include 'Shoot The Moon' (appollo mix) (features mixing of real drums by drummer Peter Yttergren and real instruments plus synths). And my cover version of 'Lovesong' by The Cure has real bass and guitars also but drum machine.

i'd have a blast of mixing Duane for sure! if that was aimed at me :)

unfortunatly i can produce :( but could have a mix up for ya!

Hey jason, how's it going? I'd love a shot at a guess spot man ... even my own show. I've been DJing for a number of years now and recently started to produce one or two tracks (nothing major yet) but I'd love a shot at either a guess spot or even a show.

Thanks for the shout - no sorry, no ambient sets. I'm not a DJ, what I admire about this community is the range of talent from musicians, producers and djs.

Each has it's own skill set, I am better at the musician/producer side of things and in the world of electronica musicians/producers need DJ's to co-exist and get our music out there !

If you wanna use any of my tracks or cut a few loops/samples from it for djing then I'm more than happy for you to use anything you want from my music.

I will be working on some more stuff soon, just busy right now - but Ableton Live 6 is helping my creativity and workflow for sure :)

Wicked, I'll go through your stuff and if I find something that fits in I'll use it and credit where credit is due. Much appreciated, thank you. RadiotecH is mainly about DJ sets so that's my focus for right now but I have some more ambitious plans down the road so will keep you in mind........ Live 6 rocks!
