I think I'm becoming retarded !
As I get older and more stressed by the crappiness of working a full time day job when I love music so much and all the bs politics and posturing that occurs, I can feel my braincells departing at a rapid rate of knots ... (this plus some physical changes too, such as developing Psoriatic Arthritis and dealing with the pain and mess that brings).
Anyhoo, I created a remix of Freaky jupiter, a track I'd posted earlier which I have never been entirely happy with but put up with it. After a lot of hours of tweaking and remixing and adding some new parts, and mixing and mastering, I'm still not happy with the results (freakin' hypercompression sounds spoiling my mix, had to trade off dynamics for volume, in spite of hundreds of slight tweaks/variations of plugs etc - usually it works out better for me than this though), but thought screw it, I've wasted many more hours of my time with this to chuck it in the recycle bin, so I uploaded it anyway. Or so I thought.... and this is where the retardation/Alzheimer's kicks in... I only went and reuploaded the original bloody mix, not the new one I'd spent hours messing about with and I did not notice it until now, and checking my stats, there are at least 3 other people out there who streamed the tune and thought .... WTF is this guy on, it's the same MIX !
Well, I apologize for being a f***tard and can now confirm that the crappy remixed version is now uploaded and if any of you should wish to assault your ears with my terrible mixing and mastering job that pumped it up to near CD levels then I will think your crazy, but welcome and value your time and effort ! And if you want to be brutal about the arrangement or mix then go ahead and make my day, because I really don't know if I like either mix of Freaky Jupiter and whether I should just bin this song/tune/one mix/both mixes totally or throw it on a CD as filler material !

Yup, I suppose I'm bit of a perfectionist when it comes to music, a bit weird as I can be a total slob around the house and always lokking for ways to slack off at work (while looking like I'm busy of course !)
