My wife is doing a lot of DJ-ing and has been using Traktor. We recently got her a new system and Traktor has been acting up (both outputs running into the same output channel). We think it might be the Core Audio but are also looking for recommendations from DJ's on what software they like to use the best.

We are considering Traktor 3.3, MegaSeg, DJ-1800 and Ableton Live. Are any of these good? ARe there others that we should consider?

Although I played the notes perfectly in time with the tune, the recording seems to show a slight delay on most of the bass notes. I tried re-recording and pushing my notes a bit and it helped but the track still got recorded outside the parameters I played. I have noticed the same behavious on other projects. It doesn't seem to affect playing lead guitar or vocals,, but when I play rhythm guitar or basss, sometimes there is a lag.

Does anyone here know if this is a proble with the automatic arping or other quantizing? Anyone else have similar problems?

I added a bass track. Used a Fender Jazz bass, Toneport UX2 modeling a power pop bass setting (tune pre-amp - 8 * 10 cab). I had some synchronization issues. I definitely played the notes perfectly to time of the music but Ableton Live seemed to automatically warp the recording which made it out of time a bit. The time shift is not linear. Anyone have ideas on how to fix? I can re-record again when fixed. It sounds like the entire bass line wrote to disk a fraction of a beat to late.
